Customs Broker Courses

Customs brokers are licensed by Customs and Border Protection to collect, protect and defend the revenue of the United States government. To represent importers, an individual must pass a difficult examination offered twice yearly and then undergo a background check, interview and have their references checked before they are awarded a license.

Eight-Week Correspondence Course Program Overview:

• Designed to both prepare for the exam or those wanting to learn more about international trade and U.S. Customs regulations
• Receive eight weekly reading assignments, plus complimentary online exercises
• Registrants invited to attend three webinars (a $450 value) covering more complex topics in greater depth
• Offered exclusively online, candidates are not required to travel, but must have their own copies of the tariff and Customs regulations
• Cost is $895 and start dates vary throughout the time leading up to the exam dates held in April and October every year
