Amber Road would like to thank all of those who attended the second webinar in our three-part Export Compliance Webinar Series. The attendees asked some great questions, but unfortunately, we ran out of time and were unable to answer all of them. The presenters were kind enough to provide us with written responses to those questions. Here are a few:

  • Does Amber Road interface with your ERP to create export documents for individual orders?
Yes, the Transactions module in Export On-Demand allows you to use the order/shipment parameters sent from your ERP to create a set of 5 standard documents: Commercial Invoice, Pro Forma Invoice, Shipper's Letter of Instruction, Packing List, and EEI.
  • When importing into the US are ECN, HS, CoO and Schedule B required? Or is this just required for exporting?
When importing into the U.S. all that is required is the import HS number and CoO. Schedule B, ECN and CoO are required for export.
  • Can Export On-Demand also be used for import product classification, or do you have a different product for imports?
Amber Road’s product classification solution supports both import and export classification in the same tool.

Don’t see the question you asked? Follow this link to see a full list of questions and answers.

Our Export Compliance Webinar Series continues with Part 3 on Tuesday, November 5th. During this webinar, we will focus on shipment screening and documentation, and show you how Export On-Demand can help your company manage the entire export compliance process. Register for the webinar today!
