Amber Road would like to thank all of those who attended the final webinar in our three-part Export Compliance Webinar Series. During this series, we addressed three key steps involved in building an export compliance program, and showed you how Export On-Demand can help you get started. The third webinar focused on Shipment Screening & Documentation, and the attendees asked some great questions. Unfortunately, we ran out of time and were unable to answer all of them. The presenters, Scott Byrnes and Scott Parker, were kind enough to provide us with written responses to those questions.

Here are a few:

  • Does the audit trail show specifically which data attributes were changed, as well as old and new values?
Yes, the audit trail will capture which attributes were changed, specifically showing the old and new values.  It will also indicate who made the change along with the date and time stamp.
  • Can you share any details of how integration an ERP system works?
Export On-Demand is what we like to call ERP agnostic, meaning that as long as your ERP system is capable of sending and receiving XML, it can be integrated with our solutions.  We have a full integration guide.
  • Does the system populate the appropriate destination control statement on the CI?
Yes, the Destination Control Statement is set on the transportation tab within the transaction, and will pull through on the Commercial Invoice.
